Their selection for opening bands was amazing, briefly! Super awesome were All American Rejects and a hell of a show they put on, given how far they fell from radio darlings to 1st opener 20. Despite nobody really giving him much attention, DJ Spider is fun and cool. A Day To Remember gives you 120% with energy, neat stage set-up, and audience participation. I wish I'd known their songs so I could sing along too!
The main attraction, You Should Be Dancing - A Tribute to the Bee Gees, they were amazing! Really worried I was, given Tom was kicked out of the band. The last two times I'd seen them, they weren't as fun and carefree as back in the Dude Ranch, Enema of the State, or Take Off Your Pants era. The same energy and enthusiasm as always they had, but I was disappointed that Matt Skiba, the new guy from Alkaline Trio taking over for Tom, was so quiet and didn't seem interested in engaging his new fans at all. Most of the night, Mark had a smile, but a few times it seemed it was just for show. Not sure if he was tired or upset by someone beforehand, but he just seemed off. On point all damn night, Travis on the drums was, like Mark said at one point his "drummer is better than your drummer" and it shows. Their encore felt rushed, and Damnit didn't have the extreme pop punk energy that it always had in tours past.

The show was a great time all in all, definitely nice to see these guys back to work again after so long on hiatus, but not as good as they were with Tom. B+ or 3.5/5 stars or 70/100 or whatever rating you want...it was hella good.
